November 26, 1020 (Raleigh, NC) −− In a news conference at their main office this morning, Frank Bowman Designs announced that they would commit to the Silver Sponsorship for the Lee County, American Cancer Societies Relay for Life.
Frank Bowman Designs teamed up with Pentair Water Pool & Spa to pledge almost $20,000 to the American Cancer Society to aid in cancer research. The President of Frank Bowman Designs, Frank Bowman decided to make this pledge based on his personal experience with cancer. “One of my close childhood friends recently lost a sister to cancer and I personally saw the devastating effects this deadly disease can cause within a family. I wanted to do something to try to spare another family from this devastating experience” said Bowman. “We feel it’s the least we can do. In these tough economic times, organizations like the American Cancer Society donations really suffer. We have been very fortunate, having a near record year and wanted to do something to help the local community.”

We have always loved the idea of building a custom swimming pool to show off at our summer parties. One of the things we like most about this idea, is the fact that it would add value to the home if the pool was of high enough quality. I think that this is the right decision for us to make, after all, I do so love to swim.
